Wesley Homes Update
The memorandum of understanding has been signed and accepted. This action releases the funding for the architect and the attorney (not for use in the general fund.) The signed Memorandum of Understanding sets out the broad parameters of the agreement for sale of Nativity’s property. It is non-binding. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding allows Nativity to pursue interim funding for the time between now and the sale of the property.
Beth Asher, Alan B’Hymer, Tony Havener, Pastor Hanson, Ken Riis, Marcia Holland, Richard Keltner and Gerry Myers are members of the Task Force.
If you have any questions or concerns about the Wesley Homes transition don’t hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.
This is Living Water month. Please check out the pictures on the Narthex bulletin board of the third water tank built in Swaziland. This last tank was built for a grandmother (gogo) who is taking care of her orphaned grandchildren. They used to have to walk more than a mile round trip for dirty water. Thank you for your support of this, three Lutheran churches, ministry. Your pocket change, changes lives!
TASTES GOOD. DOES GOOD. Lutheran World Relief Fair Trade!
Delicious LWR Fair Trade products help hardworking farmers support their families and uplift their communities. Nativity provides opportunity to purchase fair trade coffee, tea and chocolate products. There is always a variety of tea and coffee, including whole bean, ground, decaf and single serve. The dark chocolate bars are delicious. If you haven't tried these products you are encouraged to. The coffee cabinet is in the fellowship room.
Nativity will co-host the Grace Feast for the Renton Meal Coalition Sunday dinner on April 8th. We share the hosting with St. Andrew’s Presbyterian and usually serve around 60 men, women & children. You are invited to provide a main dish, salad, bread, dessert or milk and/or help serve from 5 – 8 p.m. The sign-up sheet will be on the bulletin board in the entryway at the end of December.
Food should be delivered to the former Renton Chamber of Commerce Bldg. at 300 Rainier Ave. N. by 5 p.m. or notify Debbie Johnson ( 425 526 6929) that you would like to have her pick it up at Nativity at 4:45 p.m. Sharing is caring! Any questions , call Terri Bowen 425-255-2228
