I hope 2010 is off to a good start for each and every one of you. I’m contacting you because we have an immediate need for a few important items in many of our programs. Please take a look at the list provided below to see if your church, organization, group or family may be able to contribute.
1. Our greatest need currently: new or gently used bath towels. Our hygiene center, day center and emergency shelters all provide clean showers and toilet facilities, complete with all necessary hygiene items to the guests that use these various programs. With so many people using these basic services we go through a lot of towels! (It’s hard to keep them from disappearing when they can be used for blankets, pillows, etc).
2. New men’s underwear (larger sizes preferably).
3. Art/school supplies. We will be starting an Art Class at the Day Center and are in need of supplies for our guests to use. Anything that can be used for crafts: markers, colored pencils, construction paper, paints & paint brushes, embellishments, etc. We also have men attending classes who are in need of pens/pencils and lined notebooks. Please note: We will gladly accept new Art Supplies and those that have been used but still have lots of life in them.
Donations can be dropped off at 210 Alaskan Way Seattle, WA 98104.
