Subscribing to the podcast is easier than most people think, and soon, people who use iTunes will be able to easily subscribe to it from there, but for now, use this useful guide on how to subscribe.

Step 1:  Getting to the Feed

Getting to the feed is a rather simple step.  You can either hover your mouse over the Worship menu and click "Subscribe! Podcast", or you can look on the right hand side of the page for something that looks like this:  and click the podcast button.

 Step 2:  Using the link

Upon clicking the link you will come to a page that looks roughly like this (if using internet Explorer). 

Whatever you do you do not want to click "subscribe to this feed" (unless it is a feed for the news in which case you shouldn't be reading this guide), as it will subscribe in your browser, not your media manager.  Instead highlight the link in the address bar and copy the link.   

Step 3:  Subscribing with your Media Manager

The last and final step is to paste the link into you media management software (Such as iTunes or Zune) where you can subscribe to custom podcasts.  For this tutorial I will be using the Zune 3.0 software.  Whatever software you are using though, open the software and click on the podcasts tab or button. 

Once in the podcasts section, simple click the  button and a screen should appear that looks like this (or something similar): 

Simply paste the address you copied earlier into the the URL field and click subscribe.  Now you are subscribed to the Nativity Renton Podcast and you'll automatically get the latest sermons and readings right when they are uploaded!.

Closing Statements and Known Issues

• If you are using Google Chrome you will just see a bunch of random text when you click the feed link.  This happens because Google Chrome does not support feeds, but do not be discouraged as you only need to copy the link in the address bar anyway.  You just can't subscribe to the normal feeds either using Google Chrome.
• Right now you can't find the podcast just by searching on iTunes because it has not been submitted yet.  It will be, but the submission process is a very long process.  When it does we'll make sure to update right away to let you know!
• This guide will be updated with pictures from iTunes 9 as well as Zune 4.0 to make sure you have the easiest time subscribing.
• In the future this guide will have a video that guides you through the process.  This way people who have trouble subscribing using the guide will be able to follow an easy to understand video.
